Tips for succeeding in Medicall – Hospital Needs Expo

Medicall is India’s largest B2B Medical Equipment Exhibition and the biggest marketing platform to network, showcase, and launch new medical products. Thus there is huge pressure to succeed. You can maximize your business success in this Medical Equipment Show by avoiding these common mistakes.
Know the primary reason of exhibiting
Many new exhibitors have a dream of selling loads of their company products during the trade show. But what you have to understand is many of the people attend trade shows to browse and to know. The majority of the buying will happen after the show. You are at the show to identify and connect with potential customers for future follow-up.

Focus on quality leads

A mistake is to focus on the quantity of leads you get rather than quality. You must be able to identify the qualified leads that actually need or are interested in your product or service and spend time in educating them. Mostly these qualified leads will be someone you have spoken with for long enough.

Don’t fail to follow-up on the leads

This is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. Medicall Expo itself isn’t where all the deals are closed. The follow-up process is equally as important as your activities while you are there. Send your leads a personal message immediately following the Medical Equipment Expo to remind them of who you are. Then after few days give them a call or email and know what their needs are and how you can help them.
Trying to sell the products instead of educating
Your success is when the attendees keep you on their short list when it’s time to make a purchasing decision. In Medicall there will be hundreds of Medical Equipment Companies selling new products and services. So to stand out from them, you should educate the attendees with useful information in the form of a groundbreaking data study or white paper giveaway.

Talk to your competitors

Take a walk around the Medical Equipment Expo and don't be afraid to say hello to your competitors. Ask how the show is going; you can learn a lot from observing your competitors and understanding their market strategies.
